Bout this umbrella for a short trip to Italy with weather forecasts of heavy rain whilst there.
Folded/rolled closed the unit was light, small and easy to carry. Opening it up was quick and simple.
Opened it has a large enough covering for two persons to take shelter and stood up to the heavy rain and strong winds with no issues. The unit dried quickly after use.
The only negative, which was eventually overcome, was with the umbrella open and holding the soft feel grip it was too easy to inadvertintly press the catch and the umbrella would suddenly close dropping the water onto you and leaving you exposed to the rain. Easily overcome by turning the handle around to a position where the fingers did not touch the catch.
